Handheld Microphones for Dragon Medical & Professional

Benefits of Handheld Microphones

Brief Bursts of Dictation

Handheld microphones are efficient if you dictate for less than a few minutes multiple times throughout the day.

In between activities, simply pick up the microphone, dictate, and then lay the microphone down.

Programmable Buttons

Programming buttons on a handheld microphone accomplishes a variety of tasks rapidly when using Dragon.

Quickly move between fields, execute a complex macro or voice command, and so much more.

No Need for a Headset

For a variety of reasons, you may not wish to wear a headset on top of your head.

A handheld microphone may be more comfortable or even reminiscent of previously used dictation devices.

Wired Handhelds

Wired handheld microphones are connected to the USB port of your computer. Cables are quite lengthy, permitting you to stand up and move around in close proximity.

  • The free-floating microphone is decoupled from the device’s housing, which guarantees that almost no background, touch, click, air or structure-borne noise is recorded.

  • The device is designed to fit perfectly into the hand and reduce unintentional pressing of buttons.
  • The SpeechMike Premium Touch comes with a slide-switch (SMP3710) or, the more popular, push-button operation (SMP 3700).
